Training, Assessment & Qualification

The team at Merit Skills understand the importance of ensuring competence of operational staff. We have a wide range of experience in helping clients determine a competency standard and demonstrating that it has been met.

We are very aware that many companies prefer to specify their own competency standards. We can support customers who chose to do this in several ways. We can help them write competency standards and frameworks or we can provide training and support should they choose to use their own resources to carry out the work. We all offer assessment, verification and auditing services should they be required as well as provision of training and assessment towards qualification for in-house assessors.

We always liaise with our customers and aim to agree the best approach, ensuring that programmes are delivered efficiently with minimum disruption to candidates normal working life. All of our assessors are industry experienced and used to working with candidates from all aspects of work, taking them through their qualifications in a straight forward stress-free way.
